41 North Business School’, Turkey’s first private and independent school of leadership and business, opens its doors. Through academic partnerships with world’s leading business schools and institutions, 41 North Business School will provide diplomas and executive development programs for managers from Turkey and neighboring countries. Speaking at the opening, Prof. Dr. Deniz Saral, Founding Dean of 41 North Business School, said, “Our goal is to make İstanbul a learning hub for business leaders of Eurasia and The Middle East”.     

October 12, 2018, Istanbul; 41 North Business School, Turkey’s first private and independent school of leadership and business, was introduced to public with a press conference on October 11, Thursday. Having established academic partnerships with world’s best innovation and technology schools and institutions, 41 North Business School will provide diplomas and executive development programs for executives from Turkey and neighboring countries. At the end of the programs participants will receive internationally recognized DBA and Executive MBA diplomas from Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM), one of Europe’s best business schools, and certificates from The European School of Management and Technology (ESMT Berlin), Germany’s best innovation and technology school, and Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), world’s best institution in leadership development solutions.

Taking Turkey’s needs in consideration, programs will start in December with Woman Leadership Program in order to support gender equality. Curriculum will also include technology and innovation management focused training programs such as Corporate Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Data, Technology Platforms, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Blockchain, all of which will be provided in collaboration with ESMT Berlin and internationally acclaimed Lead4Success Leadership Program, which is provided globally by CCL. Executive MBA will start in June 2019, while DBA program for executives, consultants or academicians will start in November 2019.

Addressing the inauguration, Prof. Dr. Deniz Saral, Founding Dean of 41 North Business School, underlined that the school wants to increase the supply of competent business leaders and academicians who would train them.

Education programs of 41 North Business School are provided under two main chapters. These are “Diploma Programs” and “Executive Development Programs”.

  1. Diploma Programs: Programs in this chapter will be provided by Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM). Successful participants will receive internationally recognized DBA and Executive MBA diplomas by GEM.

    aDoctorate of Business Administration (DBA): This research-based program on business management is designed as a four-year and part – time program. It addresses the needs of those who hold post graduate diploma in management or a similar field and worked as executive and / or consultants and / or lecturer at college level for at least five years.
    b. Executive MBA Program: It is designed for professionals with managerial experience of at least five years, who feel the need to renew themselves in accordance with the changing conditions of the business world.

  1. Manager Development Programs: These programs are provided under the headings of ‘Leadership’ and “Strategy and Technology Management’.

    a. Leadership:
    Lead4Success:
    It is an internationally acclaimed leadership program, one of licensed programs that CCL provides all over the world. This program will be in Turkish and given by experienced trainers of 41 North Business School.
    Woman Leadership Program: Designed by 41 North Business School’s experienced faculty of academicians and business leaders, Woman Leadership Program addresses Turkey’s needs and aims to support gender equality.

    b. Strategy and Technology Management:
    The programs in this section, under the title of ‘Digital Excellence Post Graduate Certificate Programs’ are prepared by 41 North Business School and ESMT Berlin in collaboration. They include modules like Corporate Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Big Data, Technology Platforms, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Blockchain, which are focused on management of technology and innovation.   Programs will be given by internationally experienced lecturers of ESMT Berlin and 41 North Business School. This category will also include ‘Innovation Games’ workshop, which will facilitate development of a more innovative culture and approach in companies and support emergence of new and unique business models from within companies.
